
Paul M. Lebeneyio is a passionate tourism and conservation enthusiast born and raised in Koija village, Laikipia North. Paul is a professional tour guide and currently pursuing a Management and Administration course at Kenya Institute of Technology.
Paul has over 22 years collective experience working in tourist camps, lodges and organizations promoting conservation, community development and sustainable livelihood improvement. His in-depth knowledge, living and working with marginalized communities enabled him to successfully venture out as the founder of Lewaso Eco Lodges.
Paul’s efforts have earned him different leadership positions in his community as Chair of both Ewaso Secondary School and Ol-Donyiro Water Users Association and appointment as opinion leader at the County Government of Laikipia.
To sharpen his skills, Paul has attended other trainings: Leadership and Governance – Kenya School of Government, 2015; Trade & Industrial Development in India and Singapore – 2014, courtesy of Laikipia County Government; and participated in 2009 Amazing race reality show, China.
